Your First Visit

A mind is like a parachute - it works perfectly when it's open.  We want our practice members to arrive with an open mind.  We realize that most people are not aware of the chiropractic approach to health and the benefits it offers.  And we find that those who enter with an open mind to new ideas and concepts always achieve their health goals faster and save money in the process.

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New practice members often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding. So, make yourself at home!

You’ll find plenty of convenient parking and a well-lit parking lot. You’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office and if you’ve already completed your About You Forms , great! If not, we ask that you arrive 15-minutes prior to the time you would like to see the doctor.  Even though Doctor V offers you the ability to just walk-in, the office operates efficiently and you should be able to be seen within a few minutes. We have a "little or no wait" policy and we like to adhere to it.

Our office elicits a cozy environment with upbeat music playing in the background.  It has its own touch of elegance and comfort that everyone feels when they arrive.  We also have a children's area to accommodate our youngest practice members.   Our office helps our practice members feel right at home.

The doctor will briefly discuss with you why you decided to come to Doctor V, then your spine will be checked and you will receive your first adjustment before you leave. That's right - you'll be adjusted on your first visit. After all, that's why you're here. So the doctor can see how your first adjustment went, we'll recommend that you follow-up within a day or two. We'll also show you how easy it is to get your adjustments at Doctor V..

Dr. V Asks some important questions of interest to Pittsburgh residents - Chiropractor Pittsburgh Dr. V Asks...

What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Pittsburgh folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
